DEFINITIONS:
PBIS
is a proactive, team-based framework for creating and sustaining safe and
effective schools. Emphasis is
placed on
the prevention of problem behavior, the development of pro-social skills, and the use of data-based
problem solving for addressing existing behavioral concerns.
School-wide
PBIS increases the capacity of schools to educate all students utilizing
research-based school-wide
classroom and individualized interventions.

WHERE WE ARE:
Fairview is in full implementation of PBIS. We strive to support great student
behavior, and at the same time, recognize the “Village to raise a child”
concept in helping each student merge into the
behavioral belief system already established at the school.
