About the teacher

 

Greetings, I am Tamesha Gullatt and I am honored to be your child's interrelated teacher for third, fourth, and fifth grade. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be able to serve the students and parents here at Fairview.   I look forward to providing quality instruction to our students to help them gain an understanding of the state standards and to become lifelong learners.  I realize that students come with diverse needs and learn differently, so our teaching strategies will include different approaches, including hands on activities, cooperative grouping, project based, and incorporate different the learning styles.     I have been teaching for 20 years, 14 of which have been at Fairview Elementary School.  I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Reading and Literacy.  I am happily married and have four children, two boys and two girls.  Some of the things that I enjoy are reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.       “The more that you read, the more things you will know.
