About the Teacher
Ms. Erika W. Allen
Hello, my name is Erika Allen, and I am super excited to be an EIP teacher. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Before I became a great teacher, I was a school bus driver. I graduated from Brenau University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Columbus State University, and my Specialist in Teacher Leadership from Thomas University. I have been teaching at Fairview for nine years. During this time, I taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. My hobbies are reading, listening to music, and traveling. My daily goal is to ensure that each day, you leave excited about what you have learned and are prepared with all the skills and strategies needed to succeed in your grade and years after.
