Beginning for the 2025-2026 school year, HCS students in grades K-12 are not permitted to display or use a cell phone, smartwatch, or other electronic communication device on school property during the school day.

Fairview RACE Night:

Start your engines—it’s time for FVE RACE Night! ✨

We are excited to invite you and your family to a fun-filled evening of learning, racing, and family teamwork as we practice the RACE Strategy for reading and writing:

R – Restate the Question (Get ready to start!)

A – Answer the Question (Hit the gas!)

C – Cite Text Evidence (Fuel up with proof!)

E – Explain Your Thinking (Cross the finish line!)

 

During our NASCAR-themed family event, students in Kindergarten through 5th grade will rotate with their parents to grade-level “Pit Stops”. At each station, families will work together to practice one part of the RACE strategy through fun activities.
